Dante Pettis Rookie Event Worn San Francisco 49ers NFL Red Jersey Like Game Used
Up for sale is San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettiss event worn Nike jersey from the 2018 NFLPA Rookie Premiere Event. The inside of the jersey is affixed with a Fanatics hologram id sticker that has a number that can be looked up through Fanatics verification system on their website which verifies it was worn at the Rookie Premiere event in LA on May 19, 2018. This was the first time Pettis officially suited up as a 49er in uniform. This game-cut style jersey was worn by him as he posed in many different photo shoots and a bunch of shots that have been used for most his rookie cards. If you look up most of his rookie cards he is wearing this jersey in the photos on them. This is jersey is a clear photo-match and I have even made a few side by side photo comparisons showing the same distressed dirt marks on the front stitched 1. Some of the photos taken off Pettis occurred before dirt mark got added to the jersey while others pics were taken of him after they added dirt marks to his jersey to make it look actually game worn for the card pictures.
Pettis played at the University of Washington. He was named to the College All American Team and also the All-Pac-12 Team in 2017. He holds the NCAA career punt return touchdown record with 9 touchdowns and was given the Jet Award in 2017 which is awarded to the top return specialist in college football. Dante had a great NFL rookie year after being drafted in the second round by the 49ers in 2018.
He had 5 touchdowns and 476 yards in his rookie season. He was certainly underutilized in his second year this past Super Bowl season but he is super talented and has so much potential.
